SERIS joins the united nations global compact
July 2017

The SERIS Group joined the 9000 companies across the world that have embraced the United Nations Global Compact.

Driven by its commitment to act in a responsible and sustainable way, the SERIS Group voluntarily chose to assume its corporate social responsibility as part of a project that is very dear to it.

The development of our social corporate responsibility fits within the guidelines of the Global Compact and the ISO 26 000-standard and aims at promoting and continuously improving the three most important domains in terms of Sustainable Development: Economy, Environment, Social and Societal.

Our guidelines are observed by all our establishments according to the rules that apply in the respective countries in which the Group is active.

What is the Global Pact?

The Global Pact is an initiative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations that aims to encourage companies worldwide to commit themselves voluntarily to promoting sustainable development. Companies joining the Compact individually commit themselves to apply 10 fundamental principles concerning respect for human rights, international labour rights and protection of the environment.
