A major new trend here are the wireless security applications such as camera systems via a Wi-Fi network, radars, etc. Not only is there high demand for wireless security among private individuals and companies, the government is also increasingly choosing this for its public contracts.

SERIS Technology therefore decided to acquire autonomous recognition for the installation of this new wireless generation and submitted a request for provisional recognition as contractor in S3 category. This category represents equipping radio and television broadcasts, radar and antenna installations.
The FPS Economy, SMEs, Self-employed and Energy granted SERIS Technology provisional recognition on 25 October 2016. Provisional recognition differs from ‘ordinary’ recognition in duration only, which is more limited, after which it has to be decided whether definitive recognition will be requested.
This provisional phase must then compile the necessary references to subsequently acquire definitive recognition, which SERIS Technology will certainly do.
